Call for Speakers
Are you passionate about shaping the future of emergency communications?
We’re inviting dynamic speakers, facilitators, and thought leaders to be part of the APCO Wellness & Workforce Summit — an immersive event focused on the evolving landscape of wellness, staffing, recruitment, retention and culture in 9-1-1 and emergency communications.
We’re looking for individuals who can spark meaningful conversations, share real-world insights, and offer fresh perspectives. Whether you're a frontline telecommunicator, supervisor, director, trainer, or industry partner — if you have a story, strategy, or approach that reflects the changing needs of today's centers, we want to hear from you.
Speaker Benefits
Each selected speaker will receive a complimentary registration to attend the event.
Please note: Travel and lodging are not covered.
This is your chance to join the conversation and share your experiences.
What We’re Looking For
We welcome proposals from across the 9-1-1 community — no matter your role, background, or experience level. Whether you’re a frontline telecommunicator, trainer, supervisor, director, or support partner, your perspective matters.
Topics might touch on things like:
- Supporting the well-being of your team (and yourself)
- How expectations in the ECC are shifting
- Recruitment and staffing challenges—what’s working, what’s not
- Strategies for improving employee retention
- Creating and maintaining a strong ECC culture
- Lessons you’ve learned, bold ideas you’ve tried, or even tough questions we should be asking
Deadline
The call for speakers will open on September 3 and close on October 3. Notifications of selection will be sent by mid-November.
